Awards and Recognition

Recognition Program Overview

CCUSD believes that staff recognition is an integral part of living our mission to INSPIRE EXCELLENCE. Our beliefs clearly state that "All students can learn and inspired teaching makes the difference and dedicated staff members make a significant contribution to student learning." By recognizing employees for their efforts, we are contributing to our Excelling District.

A few of the recognition programs that are offered in CCUSD are as follows:

Employees of the Month Award- each month, eight employees are presented with the EOM Award. These award-winning employees are treated to breakfast with the  Superintendent, receive a special tribute plaque and ribbon, and information is posted on our website and social media outlets. We are grateful to our sponsors CCUEF, Summit Diner, and Noah Kendrick of Raymond James/Kendrick Wealth Management Group (www.kendrickwm.com) and Blue Ribbon Awards of Phoenix for their support of the program. To nominate an employee, please complete an online nomination.

Carefree Cares Excellence Awards -  The Town of Carefree is proud to recognize one outstanding CCUSD® staff member from each school twice per school year. This person will be recognized at a CCUSD Governing Board meeting and presented with a "Carefree Cares" pin by a representative of the Carefree Town Council honoring their contributions to CCUSD and our community.   Read more
