Welcome to the Health Office
Our Health Offices are committed to assuring that your children have a safe and healthy school year. We encourage you to contact your child’s school Health Office to answer your questions or discuss your concerns.
Two Registered Nurses oversee seven school Health Offices within Cave Creek Unified School District. There is a Health Assistant at each school’s Health Office. The Health Offices provide first aid, health screenings, and education for our students. The Health Offices are not urgent care or primary care facilities. We are not allowed to prescribe, treat or diagnose. There are no stock medications such as ibuprofen, Tylenol, or cough drops. The parents/guardians must provide all medications for their students. Please do not provide quantities over thirty tablets per each medication. All medications must be brought to and from the Health Offices by the parents/guardians. A Medication Admission Record (MAR) must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian for each medication. When illness or accidents occur during school hours, basic first aid and/or emergency care will be provided. Further, care and follow up is the responsibility of the parents/guardians.
