Welcome to 3rd Grade!!  I am thrilled to be joining the caring and professional team of educators at Desert Willow this school year as a new teacher!  I have been a proud parent of two Desert Willow students for 6 years and have served our campus in various volunteer and educational roles during that time. Through my many amazing experiences on our campus, I found my passion and love for teaching.  I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and am currently working towards earning my teaching certificate. 

I cannot wait to begin the school year and connect with my students and their families. I believe in fostering the whole child by creating a safe, empowering and caring learning environment.  

I enjoy spending time with my family and my sweet dog, exercising, hiking, reading and cooking.

Typically this is the homework each week:

*Math:  Practice multiplication flash cards (10 minutes)
*Reading: 20 minutes per night 
*Spelling:  Three spelling activities from the choice menu.  (Due Thursday)
