WHY do I Teach?

Mrs. Kristi Frederiksen

I began my teaching career in 1984 as a 5th grade teacher in Wisconsin. In 1997,  my family moved to Arizona. After visiting several school districts, I concluded that the Cave Creek Unified School District was where I wanted my two children to receive their educations. I returned to the classroom in 1999, and embarked on one of the most rewarding opportunities in my career, becoming a 1st grade teacher! I have been a CCUSD teacher since 1999 and have been a member of the HTES family since 2004. I consider it an honor to teach at Horseshoe Trails Elementary School and am excited to take on this new opportunity, teaching 2nd grade!
