Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I'm excited to be teaching 7th and 8th grade in PALS here at Sonoran Trails Middle School. I was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Cave Creek in 2002. I attended Cal State Fullerton and received a Bachelor of Science in Child and Adolescent Development. In addition, I attended the University of Phoenix and receive a MA in Child and Adolescent Development. This is my 20th year teaching special education and my 15th year teaching in CCUSD!

Educational Philosophy

  • My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential.
