Gavin Anderson

Hello 6th grade Students and Families!

My name is Gavin Anderson and I am very excited to be your 6th grade math teacher this year. I grew up in Wisconsin and went to the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. This will be my first year teaching in Cave Creek.  I have previously taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade in Mesa. I love sports, playing the guitar, golfing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. 

Educational Philosophy

  • As a teacher, I believe it is my job to create a safe, interactive, and inclusive learning environment for every student that steps foot into the classroom. I will provide different learning styles to meet all students' needs as I want each student to succeed and reach their full potential. It is also vital for me to help guide each student to take control of their own education so that they can be a curious and dedicated learner for the rest of their life.
