Cactus Shadows High School

Welcome to the '22-'23 school year!

My name is Kristina Bootz.  I'm excited to be teaching Business Management, Software and App Design and Foundations for Career Readiness classes at Cactus Shadows this year. I have been teaching in the Cave Creek Unified School District for the past eight years, and have lived in the Cave Creek community for over twenty-five years. Three of my four children graduated from Cactus Shadows and my youngest will graduate in 2024. We are "Forever Falcons"! I graduated from Arizona State University and hold a certificate from the University of Denver Publishing Institute. Go Devils!  I was born and raised in Southern California and have lived on both coasts. As a life-long learner and educator, I am committed to providing a high-quality education to all of my students. I believe that Career and Technical Education courses are an important pathway to success for high school students and that they offer each student an opportunity to personalize their education based on their individual career interests and unique learning needs. I hope to engage students and build a connection inside and outside of the classroom that they will bring with them on their journey within our community and wherever life takes them!
