My name is Taylor Waters and I am a first-year Kindergarten teacher here at Lone Mountain! I recently earned my bachelor's degree in early childhood education at Grand Canyon University. This program was tons of fun to work through, as I have always had a passion for caring for young children. At 18, I began working at a preschool and, as a result, I have 5 years of professional educational experience working with hundreds of children from birth to six years. This is where I discovered my love for teaching young minds.

Choosing Lone Mountain as my place of employment was made easy as I reflected on my time here when I attended LMES. It truly is a blessing to become part of this education team after growing up in this town. I’m eager to work with my new students and guide them through their early years. We all know this can be a challenging, exciting, and detrimental period in a child’s life. I look forward to teaming up with my Cave Creek community and my students’ families in order to make this transition into school as smooth and as fun as possible.
