Mrs. Stephanie Venezia
Hello, my name is Stephanie Venezia and I am overjoyed to be a part of the community at Lone Mountain Elementary! My family and I relocated to Arizona this summer. We enjoy sports, being outside, but overall being active with family and friends. I have been working in education since 2008. My journey began as an Instructional Assistant II in a Center for Therapeutic Education classroom for the Santa Barbara County Office of Education. I then transitioned to Carpinteria Unified School District and was the math and reading specialist for kindergarten through sixth grade. In 2014, I began working for Ventura Unified School District and taught there for the last eight years.
I graduated from Cal State East Bay with my Bachelors in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on Childhood Education. I then continued my education and received my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential along with my Masters of Education, specializing in Best Practices from National University.

I believe my role as an educator is to nurture and encourage lifelong learning for my students through hands-on activities, classroom discussions, collaboration, and humor. I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their curiosities!
