Hi! My name is Cindy Armgort, and many of you already know me as a proud roadrunner parent. After teaching STEM at DWES, I am thrilled this school year to teach 2nd grade. You can expect to see some fun STEM projects in class this year ;)

I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Germany when I was 10. I graduated from the German University of Bremen with my Master’s of Education in Biology and English. After living in Boston for three years, my wonderful husband and I moved to Phoenix in 2011.

Most things about Germany are incredible, the weather is not one of them... I love Phoenix and its climate (yes, even the summers)!

In my freetime, you will find me somewhere outside with friends: either in the backyard, swimming, at the park, on a desert trail, or a restaurant patio.

I’ve taught all ages at different schools both in Germany and in the U.S. for over 14 years, and I am looking forward to teaching 2nd grade at Desert Willow.
