This is Ms. Thomas' fourth year with the Cave Creek School District, and her 13th year in public education.  She has taught a variety of courses, including IB, Cambridge, and AP World History, American History, Government, and Economics.  She holds Bachelor's degrees in History and Political Science from the University of New Mexico, a Master's degree in History, also from the University of New Mexico, and a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix.  Additionally, she is ABD (all but dissertation) in History from the University of Iowa. 

Ms. Thomas is a single-mom to one very awesome son, Jack, who attends Willis Jr. High in Chandler.    

When she's not busy being a mom or teaching, you can find her at Home Depot (she' currently renovating her house).
