Dr. Bezard
Dr. Bezard moved here from the Las Vegas, Nevada area where she has lived since 1974. She spent the last 30 years in Boulder City where she raised 2 sons, was a 4-H Leader, and a small business owner. During the economic crisis of 2008, she closed her business and returned to school. Her educational journey was transformative and culminated with a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Career & Technical and Postsecondary Education with cognate studies in Multicultural Education. She enjoys teaching postsecondary courses but her true passion lies in secondary education.
She enjoys camping and kayaking and has 2 yellow labs that have been awesome travel buddies the last 10 years. She is very excited about exploring the diverse state of Arizona!

Educational Philosophy
Dr. Bezard's eductional philosophy is rooted in a quote from Benjamin Franklin "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." She believes that teaching is about giving the learner the power to take their knowledge, skills, and abilities to places then they never imagined. She supports the idea of teamwork in the classroom - the student is just as important in the educational process as she is.
