Educational Philosophy

I believe that all children can learn and are unique in their own way. My role as a teacher is not only to teach the curriculum, but to engage, inspire, care for, and learn about each of my students. In this way, I can help them succeed in the educational setting and prepare them for their future. 

Background/Qualifications

This is my fourth year at Cactus Shadows as a Special Education teacher. I received my Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion at Northern Arizona University. Additionally, I have a Master of Special Education (Cross-Categorical) from Chapman University.

Online Platforms

For the 2022/2023 school year, Cactus Shadows will be using google classroom. Each class will have a unique code for students to access their specific class. Students need to join their individual classes, as I will be updating and posting class information frequently.
