Emma Ingram

Hello! My name is Emma Ingram and this will be my fifth year teaching at Lone Mountain. This is my ninth year teaching in a resource setting. I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Upon graduation, I completed my Master's degree in Special Education Cross-Categorical while working in the classroom as a teaching assistant. I attended CCUSD elementary and middle schools and I am a graduate of Cactus Shadows High School. I am excited about coming back to teach in the community that has given me so many opportunities.

I live in Anthem with my husband, four children, two dogs and a cat. We enjoy getting out in our community, going to parks, biking, hiking and exploring new places. I am excited about beginning a new year at Lone Mountain and working with students to help them achieve their personal and academic goals.

Educational Philosophy

  • I believe that we grow the most through challenges that we face throughout our lives. As teachers, we are here to guide students and help them locate resources, find opportunities, form relationships, and build their determination to persevere. Students show the most growth when they feel accountable for their own learning. It is one of my roles to support students as they become more independent and find ways to showcase their strengths, as well as advocate for their own needs so that they can become successful and accomplished life-long learners.
