Hello! Welcome to my webpage! I am a life-long athlete who started my journey in 7th grade. My involvement in sports/activities has been pretty diverse since then and it includes: field hockey, cheerleading, track & field, mt. biking, white water sports, ice hockey, wrestling, football, bikram yoga, rugby, crossfit, and (currently) banked track roller derby. I was raised in New England (CT, ME, MA) and received my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the Univerity of Maine. I move to Arizona in 1997 and this is my 22nd year teaching at Sonoran Trails. I thouroughly enjoy teaching middle school! It was a rough time for me at that age and the discovery of sports assisted me in my journey. All I want to do is pass it on and help my students create life long healthy habits and adventures.

I believe that the Physical Education environment should be safe (both physically and emotionally), comfortable, challenging, and FUN! Along side with improving all around physical skills, the opportunity to practice our social/emotional skills are of great abundance. We will be focusing on the school's pledge during our classes.
