I believe the purpose of education is to inspire life-long learning in young students through hands-on experiences. Students learn best when they are actively engaged in their own learning, making my classroom an essential place for discovery and exploration. I believe that inlcusive teaching creates a learning enviroment where students feel a sense of belonging, sparking motivation and engagement for ALL learners. I believe that giving all students of varying backgrounds and needs a safe place to interact with their peers is critical to a successful learning experience.
My role as a teacher is to facilitate learning by setting high standard and obtainable expectations. I love to see my students enoying themselves but I also expect them to try their hardest to strive for improvements each day. My role as an inclusion teacher is to facilitate learning and social experiences for all student regardless of their backround or needs. I expect my students to be inclusive and kind to everyone who walks through our classroom doors.
