Health Office
Welcome to the Health Office
Our Health Offices are committed to assuring that your children have a safe and healthy school year. We encourage you to contact your child’s school Health Office to answer your questions or discuss your concerns.
One Registered Nurse oversees seven school Health Offices within Cave Creek Unified School District. There is a Health Assistant at each school’s Health Office who has a CPR and First Aid card. The Health Offices provide first aid, health screenings, and education for our students. The Health Offices are not urgent care or primary care facilities. We are not allowed to prescribe, treat or diagnose. There are no stock medications such as ibuprofen, Tylenol, or cough drops. The parents/guardians must provide all medications for their students. Please do not provide quantities over thirty tablets per each medication. All medications (prescription and/or over-the-counter) must be brought to and from the health office in their original packaging by a parent/guardian. A Medication Admission Record (MAR) must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian for each medication and must match exactly what is labeled on the package. When illness or accidents occur during school hours, basic first aid and/or emergency care will be provided. Further, care and follow up is the responsibility of the parents/guardians.
