Superintendent's Challenge

 

Superintendent’s Challenge began for CSHS students July 1, 2012 - earn 50 hours or more per year in Community Service/volunteering (200 hours total in 4 years) by your senior year and receive a Superintendent's Challenge honor cord and certificate.

Falcons - Earn a Varsity letter for completing 200 hours of community service in one school year.  Hours start accruing for the Varsity letter May 25, 2024 until deadline. Classes of 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 – You will need 200 total hours by the deadline of your senior year to complete the challenge.

STMS
Beginning July 1, 2013, the Superintendent’s Challenge was opened up to Sonoran Trails Middle School Students.  STMS students may begin logging their community service hours MAY 25 for the 2024-25 school year.  Seventh graders who accumulate 25 hours by May 5, 2025 will receive a certificate of achievement and a pin; Eighth graders who accumulate 25 hours by April 18, 2025*** will receive a certificate of achievement and a community service ribbon.

***Eighth grade deadline is April 18 so that the student will be recognized at the 8th grade celebration and in the celebration booklet.

Elementary

 

Beginning July 1, 2014, the Superintendent's Challenge was opened up to all 5th and 6th grade elementary school students.  Elementary students may begin logging their community service hours MAY 25 for the 2024-25 school year.  Accumulate 15 hours by May 6, 2024 and receive your Superintendent's Challenge Certificate of Achievement.
