This is my 16th year teaching science in the Cave Creek Unified School District. I have taught at Desert Arroyo and Sonoran Trails middle schools and this is my second year teaching at Cactus Shadows. As a science teacher, I aim to develop students' understanding of scientific inquiry, helping them to visualize science as a process of asking questions about phenomena, conducting investigations to answer those questions, and building explanation based on evidence. I feel that the best way to learn is to experience science and see that science is all around them.
