Hello Bobcat Families! My name is Mia Manning, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher! 

I was born in Illinois, but I grew up near the Cave Creek area so I am thrilled to be teaching so close to home. I attended the University of Arizona, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Education, along with an emphasis in Special Education. I discovered a passion for Special Education at a very young age. I believe we as a community are capable of developing positive academic and social opportunities for all people, and I am elated to be a part of this inclusive transitional process! 

In my free-time you will most likely find me spending time with husband, our family and friends, hiking with my dog, watching or attending sporting events, or playing music. I am a die-hard Chicago sports fan (Go Cubs Go!), I play the guitar and piano, and I sing. I strongly value the Arts, and their ability to provide outlets for self-expression, so I plan to utilize them often!
