K-5 Arizona Social Studies Standards are organized around five strands: American History, World History, Civics/Government, Geography, and Economics. The standards delineate various concepts and performance objectives at each level.
CCUSD currently uses the following textbooks published by Harcourt to facilitate instruction:

9-12 Social Studies
9-12 Arizona Social Studies Standards are organized around five strands: American History, World History, Civics/Government, Geography, and Economics. The standards delineate various concepts and performance objectives at each level.
CCUSD offerings go above and beyond the Arizona Standards for Social Studies. CSHS offers Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses in addition to the regular mainstream classes required by the state.
