I am so excited to be teaching Music at Horseshoe Trails Elementary School. I look forward to my fourth year teaching at HTES. In January 2018 I began substitute teaching in schools across Cave Creek Unified School District. I was so impressed with the district students, employees, facilities, and general atmosphere and am glad to now join the team.

Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have been singing with the radio, in church youth performaces, and as a tenor in various choirs almost as long as I have been able to speak. I began taking piano lessons at 8 years old and it continues to be my instrument of choice.

I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Arizona.

Outside of the classroom I love the outdoors. Hiking, camping, and spelunking are some of my favorite activities.

I look forward to working with the students at HTES as we explore the beauty and artistry of muical expression.
