Bell Work - Everyday students have to write down 2 bell questions at the beginning of the hour. This serves multiple purposes. First, students are reviewing content from the day before. Second, they are creating a study guide for themselves that they can study for unit tests. Lastly, they are setting themselves up to succeed on bell questions quizzes. Randomly, I will give students a bell questions quiz. Students must have their notebook in order to take the quiz. (This is an open notes quiz.) If they don’t have their notebook on the day of a quiz, they will score a zero. This also reinforces that they need to be prepared for class every day. Students need to write down the date, questions and the answers. Students should score a 10/10 on all bell questions quizzes if they are doing what they need to be doing. Students are responsible for getting the bell questions they missed on the day(s) they are absent. The link will be updated, but students should check in with a classmate if they do not see the most recent questions.
