    Posted by:

If parents would like to join the trip, the following additional charges will apply. Parents will have the option to participate in the activities or make other plans on their own. Students must stay with the group and participate in the trip activities.

    ~ $20/day for adult insurance and activities X 8 days = $160
~ If parents do NOT wish to participate in the 3 days of Spanish classes, they will be refunded $100. Otherwise, parent can learn too!

Please read Hotel Room Q&A to learn about the supplement for getting a twin or single room supplement. The trip price that you see includes 4 students in one room with 2 students sharing a bed. When adults attend, they will generally want to change that to a twin or even a single room and pay the supplement.

  • What is the currency in Peru?

    Posted by:

It is called "Sol" - its a good idea to download a currency exchange app or once you know the exchange rate, you can always just do the calculation yourself. Dollars are also accepted in some places, especially Lina and Cusco (bigger cities). Changing money at an ATM is ok.
