- Desert Sun Academy is the French immersion school offering a 50%/50% English/French approach to learning. By immersion students in French for half of the instructional time, students are able to acquire French in much the same way they acquired their first language. This program ensures high academic achievement, bilingualism and biliteracy and strong sociocultural skills.
- Sonoran Trails Middle School is an entry point for students wanting to begin learning French. French is offered daily in 7th and 8th grade as a core class with students being able to move into French 3/4 at the high school in 9th grade. This allows students to reach the AP/IB levels of French that can result in earned university credit before leaving high school.
- Cactus Shadows High School offers level 1 through AP/IB levels of French. AP (Advanced Placement) and IB (International Baccalaureate) are both university level courses that allow for students to participate in an exam at the end of the year. Universities will grant students credit based on their exam score, potentially allowing students to start with 3rd year classes at the university. This in turn, allows students to complete a minor with a few more courses.
