Allie Dalinka

My name is Ms. Dalinka and it is my sincere delight to introduce myself as your child’s teacher this school year! I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and came to Arizona to attend Arizona State University. I graduated from ASU with the highest of honors and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Elementary and Special Education. I also earned a certificate as a Child Life Specialist. I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of the wonderful Lone Mountain community! In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding, traveling, sports and spending time with my family and friends. I am thrilled to begin a new school year at Lone Mountain, and to partner with you to guide your child as they learn and grow! Let the learning begin!

Educational Philosophy

  • I believe my role as a teacher is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learning of my students. Through hands-on activities, classroom discussion, and even the use of humor, I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their natural curiosity. I try to create a classroom environment that fosters self-esteem. Through positive reinforcement, realistic goal setting, and constant monitoring of children's achievements and struggles, I am able to help a child develop at their own pace. Creating a welcoming space for learning is so important, especially for the youngest learners. As an elementary teacher, I am acutely aware that I am defining the school experience for my students. I work hard to make that experience a positive, nurturing one.
