My philosophy toward Physical Education/Health has always been "Healthy Body, Healthy Mind." My personal goal for teaching is to advocate the importance of fitness throughout one's life. In May of 2002, I received a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Arizona State University. I also had the honor of being the first Physical Education teacher in the state of Arizona to receive National Board Certification (2002). In 2011, I re-certified my National Board Certificate for another 10 years. My extra-curricular duties include coaching Cross Country, Wrestling and Track & Field as well as being the Athletic Director of the school.
