Mrs. Dine

My name is Julie Dine and I was raised in Golden, Co. I attended the University of Nebraska and received my BS in elementary education and an endorsement in bilingual education. I have my early childhood endorsement, and LTRS training.

In 1980 I moved to Phoenix and began teaching at a private school in Paradise Valley. During my 20 year career there I taught Spanish to 3yr. old- eighth grade, seventh and eighth grade English and sixth grade- all subjects. In 2000 I stopped teaching to raise our son, Andrew.

After being a stay at home mom for 5 years, I decided to get back into the teaching profession when Andrew entered kindergarten at Horseshoe Trails. He is now a senior at NAU.  This is my eighteenth year teaching kindergarten at this awesome school and I love it!

Kindergarten is one of the most amazing grades. I believe it is one of the most important in a child's academic career. It is a year filled with new experiences, incredible academic growth, fun, and lots of love.

I look forward to a wonderful year with your most prized possessions!

Sincerely,

Julie Dine
