Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am excited to be your child's language arts teacher. This will be my 8th year teaching at Desert Willow and my 14th year teaching. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University.
My educational goals for my students include an increased ability for them to accept challenges openly, develop and nurture their grit, and to find the reader within themselves. My hope is that each child grows as an individual this year, both academically and socially, and that they feel welcome and supported in their learning environment. My role in their growth will be to provide them with challenges and to help them develop positive relationships within our classroom.
