    August 8 - Tonight for homework

    1) Have parents review syllabus and sign and return tomorrow for homework points 2) Send Dr. Savidge a favorite picture of yourself.  Picture must be one which shows you dressed according to school dress code. In the information block of the email to Dr. Savidge, state your class period and your name. This is for homework points. 3) Memorize helping verbs for tomorrow: am, is, are, was, were; be, being, been; have, has, had; do, does, did; may, might, must; shall, should; will, would; can, could  4)Think through a letter to Dr. Savidge with at least three narrative paragraphs.

    August 9 - Tonight for homework

    1) Learn the coordinating conjunctions for tomorrow: and, but, or, nor, for, yet, so  2) Re-write your letter to Dr. Savidge, correcting comma usage and put in at least 3 pictures highlighting summer experience.  One picture must be of you.  Entire letter is to be double-spaced and in 12 point Times New Roman font.
