BIO: I started teaching at Cactus Shadows in 2016. My background includes a BS in Mathematics from Colorado College.  I then received my teaching certification through Fayetteville State University in North Carolina, where I began my teaching career.  I've taught for several years in the Seattle area before moving to Arizona with my husband in 2010.  Prior to Cactus Shadows, I taught at a small charter school for high school girls in the Central Phoenix area.  In 2006 I received my National Board Certification in AYA Math, and I recertified again in 2015.  Most days, I'm delighted that I have 2 kids - a 4th grader and a kindergartener at Desert Willow.
