Welcome to Coach Kairis' Webpage

My name is Stacey Kairis, and this is my twenty sixth year of teaching. I graduated from Purdue University and began teaching Physical Education in Crown Point, Indiana. After one year of teaching PE, I moved to Arizona where I taught seventh and eighth grade Language Arts for two years in the Roosevelt School District. I then moved to the Madison School District where I spent fifteen years teaching fifth grade Math and Science, seventh grade Math, and kindergarten through eighth grade Physical Education. In 2003 I earned my Masters degree from Arizona State University in curriculum and instruction. I'm excited to be working at Cactus Shadows High School and look forward to another amazing year.

I grew up with six brothers in the suburbs of Chicago, so sports have always been a part of my life. I like to workout, run, hike, and ride my bike. I also play on two Co-ed softball teams, have participated in several half marathons and have completed two Chicago Marathons. I've tried out for Survivor many times, but have yet to be chosen to be on the show.
