I started playing trumpet in 6th grade...a LONG LONG time ago! Guess what? I never stopped playing. I still play professionally in several bands around Phoenix. There is no greater joy to me than teaching young people how to play an instrument.  I know how much work is involved but I also know how much FUN is found when you play for friends or family or even play professionally and get paid to play!

I have a bachelors degree in Music Education from Biola University. I have taught both elementary, middle school and adult bands. Teaching band is what I was born to do!
