Hello!  I graduated from ASU with a BA in Elementary Education, and immediately started teaching at Black Mountain way back in 1996 in a first grade classroom.  After that first year, I taught multiage (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) for ten more years.  During that time, I earned my Master's degree, became Nationally Board Certified, and got married.  In 2006, we had our son, and I took a year off from teaching.  In 2008-2009, I job-shared and taught Language Arts in 5th grade.  After I had my twin girls, I stopped teaching to care for them.  In 2014, I came back to my favorite school to teach once again.  Two of my three children still attend Black Mountain, and I just love this school!
