My name is Elizabeth Scott and I will be your third grade teacher this year! I am from Highland Park, Illinois and moved out to Arizona in 2008 to pursue a degree in Education. I attended the University of Arizona and graduated in 2012 with a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish.

I taught in Arizona’s Vail School District for four years. I also attended NAU and graduated with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I moved back to Illinois and taught for another four years at Emerson Elementary in Berwyn. I moved back to Arizona, and this will be my second year at BMES! Hard to believe, but this year is my 10th year in the classroom!

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, reading, traveling, exercising, cooking, and trying new foods!

I am so excited to be back at Black Mountain for this upcoming school year!
