My name is Jessica Walchli, pronounced like broccoli.  I am originally from California, but have also lived in Tennessee and Virginia.  My family and I moved to Arizona in 2018.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Learning and Behavior in 1995, and my elementary and special education teaching certifications in 2010.  I began teaching in Davis, California where I had been a para-pro for seven years.  I taught Resource and Inclusion students for six years there before moving to Arizona. This past school year I was a substitute for the Cave Creek Unified School District.  

My husband, Todd, and I have three children that have recently graduated from college and made their way to Arizona also.  In my spare time I enjoy making paper crafts, such as greeting cards, and spending time with my family and friends. 

I am looking forward to a great year encouraging my students in their growth, partnering with parents, and continuing my own development as a teacher!
