Welcome from Mrs. Schantz. I am originally from Canada. I have lived in Arizona for 23 years. I have three wonderful children. My oldest has graduated. My other two are at Cactus Shadows. I have an amazing husband.  I have been married for 23 years. A side interest for my husband and myself are buying RVs, renovating them, and selling them.

My hobbies are mountain biking, refinishing furniture, camping, and hiking. Fun fact: I have a bug collection. I taught in South America for two years before I was married. I have energy that I know children enjoy. I like to have fun and dress up, so be ready for some crazy hair and outfits. I have been working with children in some shape or form since I was a teen - babysitting, summer camps, workshops, subbing, youth volunteer staff, homeschooling, preschool teacher, kindergarten teacher etc. I believe in children and that with a positive teacher, they can accomplish so much and grow by leaps and bounds.
