Mrs. Werner earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University at Buffalo and her Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. In addition, Kate also has her Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration. 

Mrs. Werner has worked in education for more than 20 years with students aged PreK-12. She is a certified School Counselor in both Arizona and New York. Her training includes Solution Focused Brief Therapy and is centered around the American School Counselor Association's National Model.  She teaches whole group lessons with whole grades, individual classrooms, small groups as well as providing one on one support.

Mrs. Werner also is part of the Student Success Teams and Positive Behavior Intervention Systems Team.
