Hi! Welcome to the 2023-2024 Resource Classroom!

My name is Skye Cooper and I am the K-4 Resource Teacher at Desert Willow Elementary School! This will be my fifth year at Desert Willow and I am beyond excited to get started and meet all of my wonderful students and families! I graduated from Northern Arizona University May 2019 with a Bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education. 

I was born and raised in Cave Creek and went through all of my schooling years in CCUSD, attending Horseshoe Trails, Sonoran Trails, and Cactus Shadows. I absolutely love Cave Creek and this district and was so excited to come back home and start my teaching career where my love for learning started! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, going to see movies, and trying new restaurants. I am so excited to get this year started and share my love for learning with all of my new students!
