AP Environmental Science and Pre-AP Biology

I have been teaching high school and middle school science for 21 years. I have enjoyed working with students also in Student Government, National Junior Society, mentoring programs and Science/Environmental clubs. I hold all students to high standards and working toward their potential. Science motivates students to be active participants in analyzing real-world phenomena and to collaborate productively with their peers in dialogue, investigations, and problem solving. Science encourges students to be life long learners, open-minded and critical thinkers.   Outside of school I love watching my son's football and basketball games, watching scary movies with my daughter, camping and exploring this beautiful state with my family.  I am looking forward to a great school year and getting to know all my students.
